Braintree Herring & Fisheries Commission approves prior minutes, advances river restoration work. Chair Matthew Sisk, Warden Jeff Madeiras, and Student Warden Liam Sweeney unanimously approved February and March 2026 minutes, with Warden Denver Gibbs absent. The commission reviewed river cleanup tracking for Conservation Commission reporting, ongoing video monitoring and Dailey Apparatus installation at river sites pending Department of Marine Fisheries preparations, and town coordination on social media and webpage protocols.
A public educational trout stocking event is scheduled for Sunset Lake on April 22.
