BRAINTREE — Pond Meadow Park Commission approves staff vacation rollover for fiscal 2027. Chair William Flanagan and the board unanimously approved rolling over all accumulated vacation time to FY27, assuring that scheduling safeguards would maintain operational coverage. The park's herbicide treatment program showed early success, with aquatic invasive milfoil improving and six other species dropping to trace classification.
The Clemson Leveler, installed at the south-side beaver dam, has reduced water levels 13 inches. The park recorded 150,079 visits since May 2025. Permanent bridge replacement is coordinating with Weymouth planning officials to maintain project momentum.
