Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of April 27, 2026
Braintree Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approves five residential construction and addition variances. Chair Rayna Rubin led the board in approving Eugene Gallagher's 704 square foot two-story addition at 21 Hilliard Court, Scott Stuart's 238 square foot deck at 289 Quincy Avenue, Jason DesLauriers and Melissa Reynolds' 540 square foot two-story addition at 20 Ferncroft Road, Paul Lonardo-Roy and Gail Ryan's second-story addition at 45 Oak Hill Road, and Jim Chen's single-family dwelling on a 12,354 square foot lot at 36 Hobart Street. The board cited lot constraints including corner configurations, irregular zoning lines, and topography as hardships justifying setback relief.
Two petitions were continued pending May 15 site visits.
