Braintree Board of Health approves eight lifeguard variances. Dr. Arthur Bregoli, Chairman, and Juliana Melchionda, Clerk, unanimously approved variances for Jonathan's Landing Condominium, Landing 53 Apartments, Liberty Park Apartments, Turtle Crossing Condominium, Reservoir Crossing, Royal Lake Village Condominium Trust, Residence Inn Boston/Braintree, and Hampton Inn.

Marybeth McGrath, Director of ML & I, noted that all properties with variances must post signage indicating no lifeguard is on duty. The Board also discussed preparations for an estimated 1.2 million FIFA Soccer visitors arriving this summer and reviewed demolition and construction requirements for a proposed 752-unit apartment complex at the former DMV site.
