Board approves eight-unit apartment conversion on Hancock Street

Planning Board · Meeting of June 9, 2026

BRAINTREE — Planning Board approves conversion of Hancock Street office building to apartments. The applicant, Patricia Fisher representing the Aiello Family, received approval for the Special Permit and Site Plan Review to convert the 50-60-year-old building into eight one-bedroom units ranging from 370 to 590 square feet, following board feedback on exterior design incorporating whitewashed brick and wood trim. The project includes 16 parking spaces and new landscaping on a 90-percent-asphalt site.

The board also continued applications for a $40 million Honda dealership and a grading permit dispute to its July 14 meeting.
