Braintree Disabilities Commission postpones July meeting, resumes in August

Braintree Commission on Disabilities cancels July meeting; resumes in August. The commission voted unanimously Monday to skip its July meeting, with staff members Marybeth McGrath, director of municipal licensing and inspections, and Kristina Ziniti, ADA Coordinator, unavailable for the scheduled July 6 date. Acting Chairperson Kelly Ormsby, Treasurer Crystal Evans, Mary Russo, and Scott Lamphere approved the decision to follow the commission's customary summer schedule.
The Handicapped Parking Fund holds $56,565.78, and the commission continues work on accessibility initiatives including a snow ordinance, a MassDOT presentation for the Town Council, and outreach to the MBTA.
