Braintree Conservation Commission approves plaza pavement work, continues review of three major projects. The Commission issued a negative determination for Simon Property Group's pavement rehabilitation at South Shore Plaza (250 Granite Street), allowing work to proceed unanimously. Three substantial applications were continued to July 9: a 220-unit residential development at 60 Columbian Street featuring a proposed donation of 38 acres to the New England Wildlife Center, a Department of Public Works pipe-access project at 0 Arnold Street, and a commercial renovation at 19-23 Granite Street.
Vice Chair Heather Charles-Lis and Commissioner Hung Pham sought additional environmental review including peer analysis of stormwater management and buffer-zone impacts.
